This is the sixth volume of “Contributions to the Scientific History of the Free University of Berlin”, devoted to the history of the social sciences at the Free University of Berlin. The series is conceived as a documentation and valuable source of material for a scientific history of the FU that has yet to be written.The authors deal with educational science, psychology, higher education didactics, political science, journalism and communication studies, sociology, with the Research Group on the SED State, and with the Willy Scharnow Institute for Tourism.
